GRAMONEG TABLET contains Nalidixic acid which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to treat urinary tract infections (infection of the kidneys, bladder and urethra. Symptoms include increase in urine frequency, pain while urinating, pain in your side or low back pain).

GRAMONEG TABLET is also used to treat intestinal infections such as shigellosis (a bacterial infection causing diarrhea, fever and stomach cramps).

GRAMONEG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe kidney disease, liver disease, fits, porphyria. GRAMONEG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with personal or family history of QTc prolongation (abnormal heart rhythm), slow heartrate and recent heart attack. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

GRAMONEG TABLET should be used in pregnant women only if it is considered clearly necessary. It is not recommended for use in breast feeding women. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

GRAMONEG TABLET is not recommended for use in infants below 3 months of age. It should be used with caution in elderly patients. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
